WHO WE HELP AT CHISMAN RUSSELL

What We Provide

Writing with Pen_edited_edited.jpg

We often receive instructions directly from businesses/in-house counsel seeking advice and assistance on the application of competition law to the specific circumstances they face.

We focus on providing clear, timely, and cost-effective advice that helps clients understand their position and, ultimately, decide how best to proceed. This may involve analysing existing arrangements or conduct, advising on proposed courses of action, or supporting internal decision-making where competition law is engaged.

LAW FIRMS

The majority of instructions we receive are from law firms that require ad hoc competition advice on behalf of their clients.

Understandably, many law firms do not require the frequency of competition law input necessary to maintain that expertise in-house, so Chisman-Russell fills that gap. We aim to work seamlessly with existing legal teams, providing specialist input that is proportionate to the matter and aligned with the firm’s preferred approach, whether working discreetly in the background or more visibly as part of the advisory team.

Law Firm

Chisman Russell is a trading name of Chisman Russell Limited, a limited company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 13624586.

Chisman Russell is a legal service, not a law firm. This means that although it is registered with the SRA, it is not regulated by them. Chisman Russell can carry out certain legal services for you but not others (i.e., we cannot hold money on behalf of clients, nor advise on financial matters). Certain other restrictions apply. Advising on the application of competition law does not fall under these restrictions, nor does it affect any of the legal and professional obligations owed to you.

Lee Chisman-Russell, as a solicitor admitted to the roll and, as far as his professional conduct is concerned, is regulated by the SRA.
