LAW FIRMS

Ad hoc support and assistance

For law firms, we provide flexible competition law support that can be integrated seamlessly into existing teams. We work behind the scenes or alongside your lawyers, adding specialist input where competition issues arise without the need for permanent in-house capability. Engagements can be structured to suit the firm’s preference, including white-label support or direct engagement with your clients, while the firm retains overall conduct of the matter.

Support ranges from strategic advice, risk assessments, and input into contractual terms, to drafting, submissions, and full litigation support (particularly in the Competition Appeal Tribunal - CAT). Our objective is simple: tailor our input to the needs of the matter and the firm’s way of working. The emphasis is on delivering experienced, commercially driven competition law advice in a manner proportionate to the issue at hand (i.e., no sledgehammers to crack nuts).

"Lee provides invaluable support to our practice. We are simply not in a position to retain a competition law specialist and in fact, we only need such support intermittently. Being able to use Lee "as and when" is crucial to our firm and, importantly, to our clients." -
